Please introduce yourself briefly and tell us what makes your hotel or host role stand out.

I am Karin Heinle from Akzent Hotel Restaurant Hirsch. It is important for me to use programs that really move us forward in hotel management. As a German company, we value local solutions where the communication and orientation of the software exactly match our local requirements.

Did you or how did you do revenue management before you switched to happyhotel?

Before using happyhotel, we were looking for a way to significantly simplify our daily work and at the same time make better decisions in revenue management. It was important to us to move away from estimates and instead optimize our prices on a solid data basis.

Why did you choose Happyhotel?

We deliberately chose happyhotel because we wanted a tool from Germany that would also exchange ideas in our language. The software impressed us with its intuitive operation and clear reporting, which made it much easier to get started with data-based price optimization.

What do you like best about Happyhotel? Which function feels like saving you the most time?

Automated price recommendations, which save time and increase sales at the same time, are particularly helpful. A real advantage is the ability to compare yourself with other hotels in order to be able to better evaluate your own strategy. Simply registering events also helps us enormously to identify peaks in demand at an early stage and to respond optimally to them.

Have you already made any noticeable additional sales and if so, by what percentage have you been able to increase your turnover through happyhotel?

Yes, the tool leads to a noticeable increase in sales. You just have to be brave enough to actually implement the suggested prices — because that is the only way such a system really makes sense. Despite the challenges of our system conversion from HS/3 to Ibelsa, the system impresses us in daily use thanks to its efficiency and targeted price adjustments.
