Please introduce yourself briefly and tell us what makes your hotel or host role stand out.

I'm Paul Hugill from Tregenna Castle Resort in St Ives. Our resort is a sprawling, historic estate in one of Cornwall's most famous coastal regions. As a host, it is my goal to manage the complex requirements of such a large company through simple, efficient processes while always keeping an eye on market developments.

Did you or how did you do revenue management before you switched to happyhotel?

‍Before using happyhotel, we were looking for a solution that relieves us of the manual work involved in pricing. We wanted a system that not only analyses our own workload, but also kept an eye on our competitors' pricing to get well-founded recommendations for our rates instead of having to manually check everything.

Why did you choose Happyhotel?

‍The easy handling of the system was decisive for happyhotel. It was very easy to set up and the support was great along the way. We were particularly impressed by the ability to easily update prices and easily add local events to support our planning directly in the tool.

What do you like best about Happyhotel? Which function feels like saving you the most time?

‍The most useful feature for us is to have prices updated automatically. This completely removes the manual effort from the process of price acceptance. It is also extremely helpful to see what the competitor set is priced at, as the system combines this together with our own demand to recommend optimal prices.

Have you already made any noticeable additional sales and if so, by what percentage have you been able to increase your turnover through happyhotel?

‍By using happyhotel, we were able to professionalize our pricing strategy. The system provides us with valuable recommendations that consistently take into account our market position and demand. We recommend the tool as a very easy-to-use RMS that makes daily work in revenue management noticeably easier and helps us remain competitive.
