Please introduce yourself briefly and tell us what makes your hotel or host role stand out.

I am Sascha Heil from V-Hotel in Bonn. Our hotel is a special place surrounded by greenery on Venusberg — we combine modern design and individuality with a sustainable hotel concept. As hosts, it is our aim to take innovative paths. For us, this also means relying on cutting-edge revenue technology in the background in order to make team collaboration transparent and to be able to make well-founded, data-based decisions at any time.

Did you or how did you do revenue management before you switched to happyhotel?

Before using happyhotel, we were looking for a way to transform complex data sets into understandable and directly usable information. We wanted to automate routine tasks, but ensure that human input remains decisive in the decision-making process and that we could define strategic rules ourselves at any time that fit our individual hotel concept.

Why did you choose Happyhotel?

The decisive factor for happyhotel was the combination of a high level of user-friendliness and a modern, logically structured design. The system is ideal for beginners as well as experienced users. We were also impressed by the stability of the automation processes and the friendly, solution-oriented support, which is essential for seamless access to data.

What do you like best about Happyhotel? Which function feels like saving you the most time?

The dynamic price recommendations, which are based on a variety of data points such as historical demand, current occupancy and seasonal trends, are particularly impressive. This saves us significant time on repetitive tasks such as the daily price check. The reporting module is also highly developed: Dashboards for key figures such as RevPAR and ADR are designed in such a way that trends and potential for improvement are immediately apparent.

Have you already made any noticeable additional sales and if so, by what percentage have you been able to increase your turnover through happyhotel?

Thanks to nuanced, automated recommendations that are precisely tailored to the reality of our hotel, we were able to optimize our results. The system provides an excellent basis for data-driven decisions and has proven to be very valuable for sales development. We appreciate the continuous development of the tool, which shows that we are actively working on market needs.
