Please introduce yourself briefly and tell us what distinguishes your hotel or host role.
My name is Caroline Weis and I have been running our family business Hotel Weis together with my parents for 6 years. In our 4* hotel with its own winery, personal contact with guests is paramount and this is an important success factor for us. We are striving to streamline and digitize administrative processes so that, together with our team, we can fully concentrate on our guests and their time with us at Hotel Weis.
Did you or how did you do revenue management before you switched to happyhotel?
Before happyhotel, we manually maintained and managed 7 different price levels per room. Depending on the default setting, certain rates were addressed and increased with workload. But individual adjustments had to be made by hand in a complex manner.

It is important to us to be present and available to guests and employees in everyday hotel life. As a result, we sometimes lacked the time to delve sufficiently into the forecast and the price structure on a daily basis as necessary.
